Getting Contacts For Account Ids

If you have a list of accounts (it could be excel file with some Account IDs), and want to check on contacts for these accounts follow the steps below:

• Go to Endeca and switch to Account Based Segmentation

• We need to Create Segment for our given IDs:

  

  1. click on Create Segment
  2. Select type of IDs you have -> in our case REGISTRY_ID = Fusion Registry ID / Customer Number
  3. Paste IDs as separate lines (they can be copied from Excel and pasted here)
  4. Give your segment a name -> here I gave registryIDs_210205
  5. And Submit

• Confirmation will be shown and your Segment should be shortly available (couple of Minutes):

• When segment is created you can find it in left pane under Company Segments.

  You can search giving a part of the name you gave while creating the segment (point 4. above).

  In this case I am typing jus 210205 and among results my segment should appear:

  

  Select it and Submit it:

  

• Your segment should appear in right pane under Selected Company Segment Refinements and the numbers in Summarization Bar should reflect your selection.

  

  In this case we have only 3 accounts.

• The next step would be to switch to Contact Segmentation and do further selections on contact level.

  The preview list of all contacts for given accounts and other selections will be shown in the lower part in Preview List

  

• If after contacts selection you want to communicate them via email or phone, you need to request that via GMSS Services Portal. To target the exact contacts you just selected give your List Segment a name as below (it will be visible in GMSS Services Portal)

  

  To submit such request:

  • go to GMSS Services Portal
  • Create Request
  • Select Your Audience
  • Create Endeca List

  • fill out the form (Program Code needed) and select the Endeca List Segment you created previously

    

  • Submit your request
