Endeca Reporting Tab
In Endeca we have besides ‘Account Based Segmentation’ and ‘Contact Segmentation’ one more not very broadly used tab => ‘Reporting’ under which interesting area is ‘Company/Contact Coverage’.
This tab shows Account Level numbers.
In the above example we can see that our Segment includes 5 Accounts (a.k.a. Purchasing Entities) with total of 81 Contacts.
In the ”% Can Email” field we can see 100%. It means that 100% of our selected accounts are emailable (at least 1 contact meeting all contact criteria is emailable per account). It does not mean all of our 81 contacts are emailable.
To find out how many contacts are emailable we would need to go back to
‘Contact Segmenation’ tab:
As you can see 76 out of 81 contacts are emailable which is about 94%.
‘Reporting -> Company/Contact Coverage’ section is used mostly to check how
good contact coverage is. It splits selected segment into Companies without and
with contacts.
To demonstrate it I limited my selection adding additional contact criterion on
‘Title Department’ = ‘Education’.
In the above example we have in total 5 accounts. 3 of these accounts meet our criteria. => which is 60% ”% w/Contacts”.
In total we have 6 contacts.
Since all of the contacts are emailable (you can check by going back to ‘Contact Segmentation’ tab) we have as well 60% of accounts ”% Can Email”.
Our selected companies are split into 2 tabs:
- ‘Companies Without Contacts’ -> containing 2 accounts
- ‘Companies With Contacts’ -> containing 3 accounts
